ok my sunroof clicked when i pushed the button so i checked on here for info ok i pulled it apart the gear was stripped i got another gear out of another sunroof motor not stripped or anything now it just goes up and down and dont click or anything it acts like its just to weak but it dont whine or anything id appreciate the help

basically have it wired up, just hold the motor in your hands. Want you want to do is manually crank the roof open to lift to it's max by using the motor assembly as a hand crank. Next, you'll want to take the motor off the crank, and have all the power lined up and turned on. Next, press the lift switch, all the way til it stops. Next press it again to see if it goes a really short distances than stops, then press the slide button to see if it goes back that exact same distance. If so, that's probably where it should be aligned. That means go back to the point where it stops quick after pressing the lift, then reassemble or bolt the motor back on. Test it, and it should work fine...

It may take several attempts to allign it properly (i know it did for myself). You know you have it right on when you close the sunroof from the proped up position and it seals properly. It may take very slight adjustments (1/8 manual turns on the crank) until you get right. Oh, and when you get it fixed, dont open the sunroof when the ambient temp. inside the car is really hot! I found that out the hard way.

ok i did the align thing it will still go up and down when i do it manually it will still not go back is it suppose to im guessing it is do i need to take the glass out and check does anyone know where i can get a pic of how it is suppose to look thanks 4 the help so far guys

NO, dont take the glass out! Double check your aligning method. Hold the motor in your hand a do a couple of test runs. It sounds like you have the alignment cycle backwards?

i looked in there and one of my little clips is wrong i think i dont know how it got like that i took pictures but i dont know how to get the pictures on here if someone would tell me how so i can get them on here and let you guys know what im talking abo0ut
