the new stangs

i drove a guy i work withs 07 v-6 mustang and i absolutley hate it. underpowered and the hood is about 400x longer than any other car ive ever driven. the drivers compartment is also bad, i have long legs and the clutch was still close to being too long to push.
what does everybody else thing about them?
what do people think of the GT's ?
 
ive rode/driven a new (06 maybe?) GT and i was glued to my seat the entire time. quality it was great, inside and out. the suspension was stiff as a brick. i loved it to say the least lol :drool:
 
the new mustangs are great .... the clutch pedal possition does feel alittle weird coming form a contour but it isn't bad. The GT has plenty of power stock and it performs very well. I didn't feel the V6 was underpowered but then again the rentals I have driven where automatics also. As for the length of the hood, thats how the 60's mustangs where. Note most of the front end is patterned off the 69/70 Mach 1.
 
Pretty much every mustang has a huge front end. My dads 2000 has a huge one, especially compared to the contour. BrApple is right about the clutch feeling strange compared to the contour but after driving my dads mustang for 2 days i got used to it and then the contour felt really strange.
 
yea, i noticed all of them have large hoods, but i found the 2000 models that ive driver were a lot less in the way than these new ones. i have yet to drive an older one like 60's models so i cant really compare

well since its been some time since I have gotten to drive the 69 but how is this to compare?

351? that red one is sexy. id love to get my hands on a 68 fastback for another project car. im thinkin a supercharged 351 would be good to go in there.
 
nope that is the one and one Boss 429 .... 429 cubic inches, factory rated at 375 hp and it has torque to match ...

the intake runners can fit a tennis ball ... they are about 2 inches in diameter :drool:
