I am running my SVT Contour in G-stock class for autocross, which allows for replacement struts, but requires that the stock spring height be maintained.

As such, on the recommendation of local speed shop, I have Koni Sports on order to go with the stock springs. Can anyone running this combination comment on what settings have worked best on the Koni Sports with the stock springs?

wouldn't the shock setting be dependent on how a person drives and what they like in terms of handling ... so I am not sure there is an exact answer to this question other then to try different variations out ...

Since when does G-stock allow adjustable struts?

In 02 Yellow koni's put you into STS

Hmm it was my knowledge that adjustable struts put you in sts.

If this is wrong even more reasons I should have dominated GS in KC, mo :)

Since forever! :troutslap: Full hard up front and 1 half turn back off full hard in the rear.

I just came home with them set 1/2 way in rear and slightly stiffer than 1/2 ways in in front (as set by the shop). What a difference from the 10-year old original struts! Wound up getting new rear swaybar links/bushings and front lower ball joints while they were in there.

Haven't had a chance to adjust them yet. Quick question-- do you run full hard up front and 1/2 off on the street or just at the track? If you run this setting on the street, how much is comfort sacrificed?

Just the track. I have them set half way between hard and soft. Don't recall the turns. Full soft is way too bumpy/spongy.
