some of you might rememeber me posting on here a while back, I always still lurk this forum, I finally sold my beater contour... I almost bought an svt contour 2 months ago, had alot of km's... I should of got it, but instead.. I bought a Shmeon, I mean a neon, well a dodge sx2.0 r/t..

mods, mopar lip kit, eibachs on tokico's, intake (no engine stuff, the computer in this car "NGC" is retarded, enough said) and some minor exhaust work..

I love racing on courses and autox'in..
 
got it with 25,000 km's.. now has like 35,000 after a month.. its a neon to so it was cheap, with warrenty... all I need.

I'm seeing alot of famillier names still posting, this site will run forever!
 
I just hope the paint stays looking the same because every neon I see has no clear coat and faded paint. ::random:: Do you watch Trailor park boys up there?

Every first-gen Neon around Massachusetts has a completely rusted roof (I mean thoroughly bright orange all around) and body panels due to the paint simply peeling off.

It's a beautiful car, hope it treats you well!
 
it is a clean car but i still think the last gen neon all look lke they are cross-eyed :crazy:

totalled... just after I got it supercharged, some clown t-boned me! and yes. I do miss it to death.

as for the sx2.0 comment, just the canadian name for the neon... that name was dropped in 02 I believe here in canada, don't know why to be exact..
btw that kit you see on the car, the rear & front lip is a mopar lip kit, ordered it from the stealership.

as for polish, I use eagle f1 usually.

I did pick up a little project last week, just because this neon is to slow for me, so I went ahead and got me one of these

even the same colour (not my car just googled it so far) 2.2L Turbo II motor to! def a fun lil car, when its running right. haha

totally agreed, don't know what else to do to make it look, more aggresive?

all neons scream HI.. even the the new one's I bought the car because believe it or not 2nd gen neons are actually pretty reliable.. I wanted a good dd, so this was it for me.

2.2 Turbo I. I am driving my well used 1985 Dodge Lancer Turbo right now, as the Mystique had a deer encounter:blackeye: and is under reconstruction. A helpful forum is www.turbododge.com, and there are others like minimopar.net, etc. Have fun, be sure to get a spare reluctor sensor for the distributor.
