Suspension clunk

I still have my clunk in rear suspension. I've norrowed it down to either the strut or the sturt mount.

When I crawl under the car and push up on the body/frame It clunks. It sounds like either the strut mount is letting loose or the strut itself (brand new  is blown. Would either of these sitiutations make a clunk in a right hand turn (blown rear right strut, or loose mount)? The bolts in the fender well on the mount are tight and so is the nut on the top on the tower. But It would hard to tell if the nut on the top was loose as it would still be holding tension from the springs.

Tires are inflated without any irregular wear. All other bolts and lugs appear to remain tight.

Any suggestions?

Oh and they car KYB...:troutslap: I have a feeling trying to save another 200 bucks Is going to kick me in the ass for not spending it and getting the entire koni kit.

Which KYB struts are they?

KYB does make a good strut if you get ones that are intentended for lowering, if you got the GR-2's then you pretty much have a stock replacement strut, and it looks like your car is lowered so this would mean there is a pretty good chance that the strut is blown.

BUT before you do into replaceing all of that... Take a look at your sway bar endlinks and bushings, that very well could be the culprit. When my rear endlinks were trashed it made a hella loud clunking noise on bumps.

I replaced the endlinks when I did the suspension. And the bushings. could it be the bushings/endlinks binding? It really doesn't seem like the source of the noise. Maybe i'll try to get a video up.
