And the truck hauling her broke down on his way back to ft myers fl! My wife past him over an hour later about 6 miles from my house on I75 on her way to work!

maybe thats a sign for you to hual that ish back and keep it...maybe its saying its not ready to die yet?
 
I wish, I shoudl ahve put her into the garage, and built a monstour out of her or soemthing, just seems so wrong to have gotten rid of her, but I am becoming a family man soon... and there are many projects with the house and stuff, so I need m garage space...

That car was dying guys. The engine would have needed some work, the tranny was slipping pretty bad in the first place. She was defintely not going without a fight, but the crusher will probably win in the end...

I think back to the plans I had for that car, painted gunmetal, some gunmetal with chrome lip rims, my AAS Kit, forced induction of some sort, build a really nice, quick ATX Contour. My SVT changed all that... she was obviosuly an SVT, quicker, manual transmission, leather interior, sunroof, all the niceities! My wife even tried to get me car on overhaulin or something to try and save it(she has high hopes for all things concerning me), just wasnt written in the cards!

Haha its cool! Is there a little one on the way? or is the girlfriend getting a puppy? :laugh:

(If you don't get the puppy remark, have a gf for several years and she want a puppy to see how you handle kids, sounds stupid, but I've seen this over and over again! Women :shrug: )

we have two puppies, but I'm getting married on september 28th, so i still need to finsih crown moulding projects, my bookshelf project, and coffee table sanding and restaining projects (all for the wifey)she wants them done by the wedding...

yeah, this was my first contour, my first newer car actually, the only one i had to actually go to a dealer and buy it ya know, every other car was either given to me, or i bought for not much cash from friends or family...
 
I got your pix message and when I first saw it, it looked like your SVT was on the flat bed because the image was pixelated and I saw the banner. But after a closer inspection, the whole front of the car was missing, along with the hood and half of the engine.

It sad to see it go, but you got a better car now.

And it difinately sounds like your too busy to fix up the old tour, so I don't blame ya for letting her go!

Are you going to put flowers and a "Just Married" sign on the CSVT? I don't think thats ever been done! Might be a good shot for the calender!
 
Man that thing is slammed! LOL. Always sad to see an old friend go, I'll be in the same boat soon with my 99 SE, just figured I should pay it off before I part it out, hehe. Oh, and congrats in advance on getting married, from one engaged HRC3 member to another!
 
Yeah, it sucks... the SVT will definetly have the flowers, cans off the back, and just married written all over it, even though I told my brothers not to do it, i know they will! I can't wait really! My wifey wants to put a small cross next to the mailbox like a damn grave, she jsut loves twisting the knife!!!

Whats funny is her name (the car thats now gone) was angela, and you named your SVT angelina, how funny!
 
Keep in mind I was in the military when we got married;

For our wedding, I set it up with the DJ.. when she came through the door at the other end of the hall (when you play "here comes the bride"), the DJ played "Tapps" for half a measure, then SCRATCHED to a stop, followed by "here comes the bride"

the entire group laughed till they cried, including Jenna after her moment of embarassment.
 
Man i thought that was you SVT as well when i first saw those pics. I 'm glad it wasn't. Congrats on the wedding.
