Bleh... I'd be very happy if they imported the Mondeo ST220 and Focus RS. I have no idea what led Ford USA to think that everyone wants to drive a mustang. :shrug:
 
Damn, 6 piston calipers, Boss 302, Quad cam 4v... That thing is sexy.

Bring the engine and options over and throw them in a redesigned Mustang, call it the Boss and BAM, money.

It's a DOHC 5.4 V8 making about 413 hp....we do have that engine don't we? Well, maybe not a n/a version making that power but the dohc 5.4 is here, unless I'm missing something that makes that engine different than ours stateside.

Either way, the car is sexy though. I'd take one.

Australia doesn't have the emissions regulations like we do, EGR in specific.

I'd love to own any car off the FPV line, they're all amazing IMO.

That frustrates me with Ford :mad:. If GM can do it why can't they:shrug:

I'm going to be moving to CA next year for a short work stint, and I have to get a set of wheels. I'm a Ford guy true and true, but I'm very frustrated at their US line up. The only car I 'want' is the Mustang, but I probably have to drive a 4 door sedan. Fusion V6? New Taurus? I'd rather have a new shape Mondeo with the 2.5 5-cylinder Turbo and sports pack. Even if they sold the new shape Focus ST!!! That car is a blast to drive, and you can get a 5-door model.

In my head I"m thinking.....Mazdaspeed6, Charger R/T, even the Pontiac G8! What else is there?

The new Taurus is quite a car, now that its got 263 nags stuffed under the hood, but it's going to seem like a behemoth coming from the UK market. I'd certainly give it the quality nod over the Charger. The Fusion is a good car, though not as visceral as some of the others you mentioned. Will you only be looking at new?
 
I love the FPV vehicles, i'd rather have a GT-P or the Force

Wow....Ford America sucks....period. That is one of the hottest cars I have ever seen.
