Brake drum diameter

Please forgive my laziness, but I'm trying to find out what the diameter of the brake drums are on my 2000 Mystique GS (Zetec/ATX) without doing any actual work. Parts catalogs say either 8 or 9 inches. If I have to pull the wheel I will, but if someone knows the size for this application, that would save me some trouble.

not sure how it breaks down ... maybe the smaller size is for the zetec or maybe the later years had the larger size ....


best bet is to pull and measure ...

A good guess would be that you have 8". Going by my 'Tours, my 2000 Zetec has 8" and my '98 Duratec has 9".
