interesting short vid I shot

OK , I will preface this by saying this is the first video I shot with my digital camera (on a lower res) , and it is the first time I've uploaded video to PhotoBucket , so we'll see what happens ;) .

I was at the Celtic Fest , enjoying the day and watching a bit of the strength competitions , and figured I'd try out the video function . This is what's called the Sheaf Toss . It's a burlap bag , filled with straw , and the guys use a pitchfork to try to throw it vertically over a bar . I believe this guy was going for 31 feet ...




 
It was even funnier in person - I just wish I'd have kept filming (and shot it in higher res) . The guy was truly dazed (as you could imagine) , and wobbled/stumbled around for a bit , then took a bow & kept on filming . Everyone cheered . I wasn't even sure if I got it on camera or not . Thank goodness I did !
 
He was dazed alright! :laugh: He got all cattywompus.
I thought he was going down for a moment there but he handled it well and stayed on his feet.

I'm glad you captured that on video, perfect timing. :)
