I bought my car without an antenna, there was a little plug in the antenna's hole. I just never got around to fixing this, I've been using CDs and my ipod but now I want the radio back. What is involved with wiring the antenna back up?

All there is, is a hole where the antenna goes, no wiring anywhere, I supposed I'll have to run a wire all the way back to the back of the head unit. A pic won't help at all, my situation is real simple.

That's what I'm currently doing. Replacing my fixed antenna with a power one. When you get yourself a power antenna, make sure you get the two connectors and some wiring that go with it. There are 5 wires that you need to run to the head unit. There is a removable control module on the power antenna that I stuck in the glove box so that I had a shorter distance for the 5 wires. Then I just had to run 2 wires to the antenna motor in the trunk.

It's a little confusing but I've been using this thread to help me hook it up:
