I plan on purchasing a metal impellar water pump from BAT. Is anyone morally oppossed or has had a bad experience with one?

I put on a BAT water pump. It's still doing it's job so I can't compain. It seems to be well made
My only beef with it is that it was made in Japan ( or at least mine was) :nonono:

I got mine from NAPA. We installed it right after we bought the SVT in 04, 13,000 miles ago. No issues so far.
I got that one a while ago... and several months later, I started hearing a scraping noise from the w/p. The reducing cone (see pinned thread at the top of this forum) had come loose. I ended up getting the entire assembly from Bill J (w/p, housing, 2 primary hoses)... which is what I've been recommending ever since. Well, the NAPA pump seal just started leaking at 140K, so I put the original back on and will keep my fingers crossed that the car makes it to 200K.

That is correct.Not one failure to my knowledge either. Seems to be a good part.
