They should ban those car washes, it brings a tear to my eye everytime I see someone subjecting their vehicle to that. Then again, if nobody had swirls and scratches, my detailing business would disappear. Keep on washing!

I only use touches washes if I use a drive through car wash, but for a dd in the winter thats fine. It has also given me something to practice on with my new PC :laugh:

Touchless car is only $7 at my local BP.
I didnt know they still have those types of car washes around.
Yesterday, was the first time ever i took my svt through a car wash. Hand washing is the way to go.

I took my last SVT threw one of them..Turned out nice..I went threw a touchless once and left water spots and all dirt stll on the car..Waste of money..Hand washing if the best way to go..Or give it to the Detailer to do..
It didn't leave any (new) scratches on the car but then again I did get the "Presidential Wash" which included a second hand washing and waxing. The photos at the end of the video were after detailing/hand washing. Though I think I will skip the machine wash and hand wash myself the next time.
the one season i had to drive the SVT in the winter i brought it to one of those touch less washes where it basically just rinses the car down.
well it was so cold out the arm had ice all over it and as it went around my car it dropped huge piece of ice up against the side of the car.
luckily there was no damage.
