It makes an awful stink. :help: No way I'm wasting propane in the garage though. Furthermore, I am the worst welder ever. I guess with anything, practice makes perfect.

been there done that  its fiberglass in the house thats a real killer

I used some of that plastic weld/putty crap once in the house. Holy crap was that bad.

I also spray painted some parts once... I sprayed them all outside, but since it was cold, I brought them inside to dry. Yeah... that didn't work out so well.

LOL, I sprayed a few things in the house once as well. Didn't seem bad at first and then the whole room was eventually covered in a layer of SilverFrost dust.

At least it was a non-carpeted utility room.

It was in my back laundry room and the floor is cement. I was doing arc welding too. :help: No pics because it was nothing special. While I like my cheap stainless exhaust tips, they don't hold up. The bolts that tighten the little U clamps snap off if you have to adjust them. I ended up welding 2 of the 3 so it still adjusts.

i have my work shop set up for when i paint. with an exhaust fan going. nothing special just a fan out the window. it works well. lay down plastic and i have a respirator. i always paint inside.
