contour cougar

Well I think the Cougar fender will work just fine over the wheel and along part of the door. I think it'd need to be cut where it curves into the A-pillar. Then there would have to be modifications to the front. I mean, you could just use a Cougar hood, bumper, grille, etc, but I do LOVE the Mystique hoods!

its been done before. search the old forums,i can remember the pic very clearly,it was a dark green tour,not a svt,w/cougar headlights,fenders bumper,hood. bottom line,it looke like shizzle

i was gonna do the cougar front end on my contour but i think the curve or the fenders was off and youd have to cut a lot off.

im gonna have to go with you on this one. engine bays are identical. im sure the mounting holes for the fenders are the same. as far as the front bumper, headlights, and grille, i assume thats different and will need some modification (drilling holes in the core support and such)

nope,mounting holes are off,same as using post98 fenders on a pre98 body. the link on the old forums is dead,it went to blue oval news.

I noticed that too. I didn't do anything to them at all, thats just how they looked from the Edmunds.com website.

They use the same subframes, LCAs, engine bay, etc so I'd assume they are close to the same width
