We've talked about it a bit in the other thread so lets try and make it really happen. Gas Works Park seems like a good place to try and meet up since it's pretty central for everyone in Western Washington.

Now when to do it?

I'm moving out of state the 25th of this month so...

How about either the 15th/16th or the 22nd/23rd of March sometime late afternoon say 3:00pm either day. Post which day will work for you and if the time is right keep in mind everyone will not be able to make it but lets get as many CEG'ers together as possible!!!!
 
16th I Debark Long Beach the 23 rd I arrive in Long beach. We are finally getting our honey moon 7 years later. I don't think I will be making those days.

Damn right! The SVT needs some highway miles on it. This in town crap has it running like crap.
 
My rear two tires are screwed up and all lumpy from a long storage period, so I must wait until I get paid (on the 15th) in order to get my new tires put on. I should be able to make it if the meet is on the 22nd or 23rd.

I would probably ride the ferry over rather than drive all the way around the sound... Does anyone know were the park is in relation to the ferry terminal? Near? Far? I'm not that familiar with Seattle.
 
could you at least drive it like that?... i have a semi bent rim that i drive on but im going... but its not that far from the ferrie termal.... i dont think:confused:
 
OK, I MapQuested the address and know how to get there, and I am fairly sure I will have my basic stuff (tires/e-brake) fixed by then. I am pretty sure I will be there.

After 6+ years of being on this forum and 7+ years being a Contour owner, this will be the first time I have ever actually physically met another Contour owner/enthusiast of any kind. Very exciting.

It will also be a good starting point for me, a good measuring stick; I won't have my Mirko Splitter or CF Cowl Hood installed, nor my MagnaFlow resonator/Hi-Flow Cat/mufflers, nor any paint mods installed either. Only my rims, K&N CAI, custom gauges and LED's, SVT badges, and XCal2. I have a lot of room for improvemet. This will be a starting point from which I will evolve forward.

I don't get off work until 5pm, but if you have any idea what to do about an e-brake handle that seems to be disconnected from the actual brakes and just sort of flaps up and down freely, I could definitely use and would appreciate the help. If not, or if you're not going to be here that late in the evening, then that's cool too, I'll see you at the meet.
 
Drat. I'm gonna be going up to Seattle tonight for court stuff in Kent tomorrow. Too bad that was not for the Friday or Monday around that meet weekend, but there is still a remote chance I drive up for this meet too.

Mike, can you do a clutch swap out soon?
 
Savior- I'll be in Bremerton till wensday morning so we can definitely get together before sunday to look at your e-brake, then we can cruise to the meet together.

I'm coming into town to visit family before I move the end of the month but my evenings will be free.
 
Got the FSVT wheels on with a new set of BFG KDW-2's. Now just need to wait for Sunday a.m. and wash & wax before leaving. Crossing my fingers for great weather. :blackeye:
