Just bought a Svt

I just bought a 2000 silver frost svt. 58K and really nice condition. Only thing is the dash is warping a little up by the windshield. I was searching through CEG and read that it is covered under a recall! Can i still get it covered or is it expired? Otherwise what do i do before it actually starts getting bad? THanks.

It wasn't actually a recall. It was an Owner Notification Program, and as such was subject to expiration.

It has long since expired.

Your best bet is to buy the kit that was used on the recall to fix the problem itself. You may need to search in the old forums, but how to do it has been well covered many times.
