mark's cruise night

like normal the guy directing cars had no clue what I was driving and wasn't sure to send me to the "tuner" area or with the rest of the show. I was told to do what I want, so needless to say I went with everyone else. I'm not parking with the imports.

sadly no one knows nor cares about the car. a few people stopped and looked but they had a puzzled look on their face. again I heard someone say I never saw a contour like that before ....

great show, must have been near 500 cars tonight.

This stuff does bother me and all, but people can only compain about it. Whatever. Just chalk it up to this...

You hade the best sleeper at the show. People may not appreciate it as much as they sould, but don't let it take away from your fun. It's a great car, and those who are open-minded enough to see it for the great car that it is do. Those who aren't proably will never be real car guys anyway.

don't think that I will be going tonight. would need to clean the car up again and I have a few things to fix before driving it to much more. plus after this weekend I don't want to be out in the heat again if I can help it.

B. my dad said he saw your car last week at Marks. I think he was pretty impressed.

Atleast people don't mistake your cars for an eclipse or an acura.....i'd much rather be a sho

one at carlisle did and it put down 375 hp

Good friend of mine that I built my second SHO with is an expert wrench in SHO land. He had a Gen I putting down about 515 to the ground with the help of a supercharger, SHOShop cams, etc., etc. The amount of work done was extensive.

mine is a tempo, taurus or a escort lol noone can figure out what id is when they stop to look it at lol

I was showing some stoner my car one day (he asked about it...), and this was the dialogue....

"What is it, again?"
"It's that red Ford Contour over there"
"Oh, that one? That's not a Contour! That's a Accent!"

Not only do I hate when other kids my age correct me about cars in general (I know my stuff pretty well for a kid my age:eek:...), but let alone when they correct me about MY car. ESPECIALLY when they tell me what it is. I nearly punched the kid.
/hijack....sorry:blackeye:
