Terminator WTF?!!?

all it has on it is a bra and light covers externally..it really isnt that bad, i mean for 25k u get alot a very well put together cobra performance wise, with only 5k on the clock, adn the hood paint/headlights are probrably flawless due to the bra/ light covers.

and is that a cobra R front bumper? And those SSR wheels arent cheap.

25K is starting bid and does not meet the reserved price.
I called them and they were asking $34,900. They claimed there may be some 'tiny' room for negotiation but probably less than 1K.

After looking at this thing, its really not that bad. The headlights, grill and bra are the worst, but they would literally take 15 minutes to change out.
Other things are that the terminator hoods don't line up w/ the "horns" on any other bumper cover besides the terminator ones, so that aftermarket bumper they have there doesn't fit either. (That one is an aftermarket one that looks the same as the 00R, but is only one piece instead of a seperate splitter)
The seats are very good, the Pro2000 is an excellent race seat, though, I'm not a fan of using a fixed back seat in a street car. The 4 pt. cage doesn't look horrible, though it has some odd bits that I'd want to inspect in person. Plus, i'm still not a fan of having cages in street cars that are driven without full safety equipment (6 pt belts and helmets EVERY TIME someone drives or rides in the car).

Other than that, its just subjective stuff, like the bright yellow paint isn't my bag and the over abundance of guages would probably just overload the driver. A better setup would be switching to a digital dash like the AIM MXL, and using alarm lights for things that don't need to be monitored very closely.

35-38k?

the low miles are the major selling point i guess. also, it's a dealer so their price is gonna be higher than a private seller.

looks liek there's more money in seats/rollcage than anything else. classifieds i've seen looking for that much money have cars making that kinda HP without the nitrous...usually more.

550HP is when NOS is in use. Without that, I doubt it can put 375HP on rear wheels. The crank HP for a stock 03 cobra is 395HP/395TQ, which is about 325 on the wheels.

I think whoever purchases the car need to shell out another 800 immediately for winter-ready tires. The current tires are summer tires.

more like 350 to the wheels. and stock terminators are known for putting down more RWHP than that.

im amazed that u all know so much about this guys car...lol

it says he has a pulley upgrade - cai - exhaust and plenty of unmentionables, id say it prob makes 400 all motor, and 550hp with the big shot nitrous setup it has.

Well, I do agree that the 550hp number is most likely with the nitrous on, but the rest of your post is retarded.

As to stock RWHP numbers, average is more like 370hp, but I've seen them as high as 385rwhp fresh from the factory. And when I say fresh, I mean fresh, as in less than 150 miles.

And in regards to the tires comment, how many people buy a car like that to drive it in bad weather???

yup. some guy on svtperformance just posted stick dyno numbers of almost 390 to the wheels!!

EDIT: 385hp/367tq to be exact

i think it's obvious that the car makes 550hp WITH nitrous. that isn't what i was saying. what i meant was, there's cars selling for alot cheaper than that, which make the same or more HP WITHOUT nitrous.

Well, not getting into online debate.
What I tried to say here was, it's close to December and soon it will be snowing. The dealership is located in western PA. Unless you have a truck to move the car, otherwise it probably needs winter tires to drive out of the show room.

So this should not be considered retarded right?

what modded or unmodded car can put down 550WHP, safely, the rear wheels for less? at least something fairly new. in order to get an evo or sti up there youd easily spend more than $30k. maybe an SRT4 with stage 17 set-up but how reliable would that be? and useable? i guess you could buy an older mustang or camaro and dump a ton of cash into it and still come out cheaper but then you'd have a fast meh car.

Now I have never driven a new Mustang let a lone a Cobra but the picture of the shifter unless its the angel of the shot looks like you bang your hand on the dash down shifting.

Le sigh....I'm saying there are other 2003 cobra's selling for less money that make the same or more hp as the one posted here without the nitrous.

I'm in the market for a terminator!!! :blackeye:
