The little boy who cried wolf must have been before your time. The relation to this thread, is that he keeps telling everyone his next pics will be with wheels. 36 threads later, still no wheels, and more unfinished mods. Nobody cares what kind of money you make, they want to see tastefully modded cars. This is not a good example of it. Until it's tasteful, be prepared for ****-soaked opinions. And since you're obviously 95 Mystiques number one fan, why don't you just ask him out? I think he can defend himself otherwise.

I don't mean to come in and bash and whatever, as I am quite pleased with what your plans are for the car. However, I have almost the EXACT same set of plans for my car, yet, I don't whore out pictures of it all the time while everything is unfinished. I've only posted a VERY small number of pictures of my car because there really isn't much to show. Every time you post a new thread about your car, there are about 20 random, repetitive, pics. Don't get me wrong, it is a very clean car, but until you get the car completed, it just seems like a rather ordinary vehicle, as much as I hate to say it. :shrug:
 
alright, i can understand that. i can take comments like that, but comments comming from Y2KSVT up there, ur just bein an ass
 
so what he likes to share pics of his car. I mean, big deal. If you dont like it dont look. No one is forcing you too. As a young guy myself i know how hard it is to save up the cash to actually get things done for the car. Since i got my sound system done in Feb of 07, my car hasnt seen anything new because I cant afford it. All of his pics have shown some sort of progress. Just because you dont want to see everything step by step doesnt mean he cant show it like that.

I like the spoiler actually. Its something different and tasteful. Im looking forward to seeing the car with all the stuff on it at Carlisle.

There is a quite definate gap in those who frequent CEG. There are the guys like Bagged Todras etc that have been here forever, have SVT parts in every part of their houses, and then there are the guys like 95 Mystique and I who are trying to make our anchient cars a little easier to look at and fun enough to drive to justify the gas we put in the tank.

These cars are not Civics, we cant just go buy any part needed on ebay for five bucks. The busted reverse lens I have pisses me off every time I see it, but I have to worry about finding enough work to cover insurance first. If I was in his situation I would have done the same exact thing, but you guys shouldn't be treating him as if he has a 15 foot APC hang glider on his trunk.

The veterans here should be helping us out and steering us away from rice, not troutslaping us into their exact views. Seems like anything besides stock contour parts on here are just :censored::censored::censored::censored: and should be ripped off.

If you don't like it fine, but fail posters and such comes down to just being a dick. Way to better CEG.

who cares? He did own one, and did a bunch of respectable work to the car, Y2KSVT had one of the nicest black 3L SVTs on the site.

Now you buy a stock one and call him out? How many Motors and transes have you pulled out of contours? How extensively have you worked on an SVT? Because I bet more than anything Y2KSVT knows more about the car then you do, which instantly gives him a higher credibility rating then you do.


Seriously man, whats your problem? You come on here and act like a hot shot to everybody, do you just like argue? Im not trying to start a public arguement, so if you have a problem with me, or anybody else... take it to PM. I personally would rather discuss matters personally.

y2ksvt might be the almighty god on here, but nonetheless he posted a blatent slam against me so what im just gonna shut my mouth and not say anything, I thought we where all aloud to post our own opinions right :shrug:
 
people acting there age on here, no, that will probably never happen... considering probably 75 percent of the people on here are over the age of 25, yet act like their 15.
 
Keep the thread on topic, people.
As the rules state, everyone is allowed to have an opinion, and if you don't like someone's opinion, don't get all bent out of shape over it.

If you have a problem with that person's opinion, you're supposed to take the rest of your squawking to pm's to discuss it, not continue to hash it out and hijack a thread.
So heed that warning, or this gets locked and infractions will be handed out.
That means no posts after mine saying "well he started it, so I responded to him" none of that!

I thought this thread was about a young guy who was excited about his first real aesthetic mod, not a bunch of egomaniacs. Even if you don't like the spoiler, he does. If you think those pics somehow warrant a massive FAIL poster, leave him alone. The kid obviously loves his car to death, and is just excited to own it. I thought this forum was all about the excitment of owning a fun, sadly underrated car; not who car knock the newbie the best:shrug:

I like the wing, and think it is subtle enough to fit your car well. Unique choice:cool:
 
I like it, it's kinda flat like others were saying but i think it still looks nice on the car. Reminds me of the spoilers they're putting on the new Neon R/T's.
