I just joined this site. I don't see my previous post coming up (I put it in the "Iowa" section). So I thought I'd say hi here. If anyone is interested it has the same title. I live in Dallas Center, Iowa.

Even though I'm trying to sell it. Here's some pics of it.

Bossnutt, welcome to the forums. I'm the Iowa section moderator. Your post did make it up, however I just deleted it due to our rules about posting for sale items in the classified section only. Also, as a personal bit of advice, when trying to sell a car on an enthusiast site, don't post pictures of a vehicle that is in obvious terrible condition in the pictures. That interior looks like it's never been cleaned or really cared for in the least.

Rick

so a coat and some papers make it "terrible condition"....ok 1 ? for you. how can you say something is terrible condition by 1 pic. and not even looking at the car ????

ummm ok let's see the pics were taken at night and the int. is almost perfect. the other thing umm the body was like that when we got it other than that the car was WELL maintained. remeber pics don't always tell the story on condition of a car.

if the car was junk i would put it in the junkyard!!!!!!

well sorry to anyone and everyone but this kind of bs makes me not even come back.....and to think i like the svt contours just as much as i like my mustangs

so let me guess,
it's a 95?, blue / blue cloth, power windows, ac, cruise, power heated mirrors, rear window defrost, ztech, ATX. Needs a good cleaning inside and out. DO NOT POWER WASH THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT!!!!!!!!

Ever change the compartment air filter?

Whatever you are trying to get for this car a bit of elbow grease would go a long way.

how many miles on it?

why are you selling it?

No offense meant, but on here I doubt that anyone would even be interested in using it for parts, just too dirty, and usually a dirty car equates to poor maintenance, IMO.

no offense taken. we bought the car the way it sits with the exception of haveing to fix the coolant fan (relay and new resistor).it's a 96 with 185,xxx ,ztec, atx. it will be getting a wash and cleaning out as normal.
the body on the other hand ....passenger side is dented (fender, doors, and front bumper cover).

selling due to needing a bit bigger vehicle.
to be honest i saved this thing from a local wrecking yard due to the fact of the way the engine and trans run and shift, and the int. being in great shape.
---------no offense-------
o and just for the record i'm not a kid (seems like some of the post are directed towards a kid) i've built street rods and mustangs. so be the judge if you'd like.

i don't buy junk and try to sell it . no offense

You'll find that people tend to be frank here and that's a really really good thing for objective items like cars. Buckshot's advice was sound and would benefit you in selling your car -- especially on an enthusiast site like this where people have high standards and are free to express them. It doesn't help you to sell your car if you've got half a dozen sarcastic responses trashing the condition of the interior. Your interior may be clean and flawless, but it does not appear to be so in that picture.

Even if you're going to a job interview where you'll be working from home, you should still iron your shirt and shave.

Try not to take anything personally, we're all just anonymous dorks on the internet; who cares what any of us thinks, really.
