Decided to paint a few engine pieces red. Thought this was a good idea at first but now it seems a little too ricey. Maybe not. Let me know your opinions. I plan to get a new intake for it too in the future.

I think it looks cleaner, but maybe a darker red/crimson would be less flashy and "glaringly bright". But the whole engine compartment looks cleaner. Was that just rattle-can, or powder coat?

darker red and some other red on the left side (passanger side) to tie everything together more.

Yeah like the coolant tank top could be painted. That would help it.

A darker red is alos a great idea. Not too flashy but adds some character to it :)

Good job man so far. Not ricey at all. To me, i like things under the hood to be all black and silver.

A red hose kit or some red wire loom would definitely help out. The top of the coolant tank would definitely help also. I don't think it is ricey, it sure is bright though, I need some  just to look at it.

I think it looks pretty good. Maybe I'll see it in person someday. We have meets in GA all the time. You should come.

I don't care for plastics being painted...& DON'T paint the coolant tank! You have a nice clean one, keep it that way.

I love the look of nice, clean plastic w/ dressing under the hood.

Paint all the metal parts you want, but stay away from the plastics...$0.02

The red sticks out a bit, but with a nice red strut bar, I think it'd pull it all together. With a little bit of silver paint here and there, I think it'd look awesome with a 3 tone scheme!
