Hard-core CEG'er
I drove 102 miles to Grand Rapids and arrived looking like this-
After a few hours, it was looking more like this-
And by the end of the night, it was done-
What does everybody think? Not many people on here really seemed to like the blue "blueberry" wheels, but I will give it to the previous owner that they definitely got people to look at the car. Whether they were good looks or not, I'm not quite sure. Girls definitely seemed to like them though!
I was considering either gunmetal or silver, but I went with silver hoping that the brighter color would make the wheels look bigger, which I think it does at the right angles. I'll be the first to admit that they look a little plain in silver, and that gunmetal would have looked good with the CF hood. Oh well, it really wasn't a bad job and it only took me a half a day to do with 4 coats of color, 4 coats of clear, and taking my time, so I guess I could do it again if I wanted. I might also consider stripping the down, polishing, and clear coating them instead.
