I searched and couldn't find the part number and apparently Advanced auto doesn't carry them (?, not surprised).

Could somewhere give me the part number, or let me know how to get a hold of one? The way to get one, seems to be to buy the entire IAC. lol

Or buy the one from an auto parts store with the new gasket, then return it the next day with your old gasket, or no gasket! They don't notice!

Save the buck! J/K! :)

i have thought about getting some fsvt calipers with core and giving them back my csvt calipers back for the core. then i would only pay like 50 bucks for both! they would never know

Cheating is not a good thing :nonono:. If the tables were turned, you would not be too pleased, would you?

i returned some cans of spray paint when I was done with them, lol... look for the blonde behind the counter.

Are you happy that someone else probably bought your used cans of paint?

I hate buying used, scuffed crap when buying 'new'. I know a lot of people shop at big name stores like Best Buy because of their 'great' return policies, but I often avoid those stores because of those return policies.

Cheaters really piss me off.

I need one of these as well...Ford quoted me $5 and some change plus tax. Where else do you get em? There is a carquest warehouse down the road from me and they didn't even have it in their catalog. How bout Checker/Advanced/AutoZone?

Autozone by me didn't have it either, but I don't know who would!??! They usually just come with a new IAC...

Ford may be your best bet, especially if Ford has it in stock.

Yeah, none of the retail stores around me carry them by themselves...guess I will have to pay $5 to get it through the stealership...

I just bought 2 of these gaskets from Bill Jenkins (thanks again Brapple for the part number in the other post I made asking for it)

Bill charged me 78 cents a piece for the gaskets... doubt you will find it cheaper than that..

i am trying to clean my iac as well, but am finding it more difficult than everyone's making it out to be.

How in the hell are u supposed to reach the lower bolt to remove the IAC? Do you have to remove every little bit around it? I cant reach the bottom bolt for the life of me!

i had no problem getting egr tb and iac gaskets from autozone or advanced auto. the iac might be listed as air intake bypass gasket. as soon as the guy hands it to u, you'll know. its shaped like a diamond with 2 holes

I myself was wondering this as I need to clean mine as well. I dug around a little on the old forums and found two ways to remove the IAC.

1. Remove the whole UIM, clean it too while it is off
2. Use a wrench (10mm) and just feel for the bottom bolt.
Here is a link for a short discussion of this.

I know it's not the most detailed description, but it's atleast a start. I'm going to use a wrench and just feel around the back because I don't want to have to be outside in the cold longer than I have to be. Hope this helps!

Yeah I've changed my IAC out before. Just get a small wrench and fight with it. I'm pretty sure I scrapped a few knuckles. IIRC I think I used a really short 3" ratchet to get in there and remove it.

But this time the IAC gasket is for the manifold cleaning I'm doing today.
