Detroit is a skidmark on the underpants of MI!

Man, that's sad. Cody isn't even in the gutter. IIRC, it's right on the border of Dearborn-Detroit. Close to Ford and a few insurance companies near Mercury Dr. right off Ford Rd and M39.
 
Yep... Cody High School is on the northwest corner of Joy and Southfield (about a block back). I live about 3 miles from the school. Shooting happened down at Warren and Southfield.

Yep. I actually filled up at that gas station it happened in front less than 15 minutes before the shots were fired. I was headed to Allen Park to pick up some tools from a job and police/helicopters were just starting to come all around combing the area as I was driving back by. I was shocked, not at this type of event in that area, but how close I was to seeing it. I should sell my gas reciept from just before the shooting to one of the gunshot victims as a memory. :)
