Damn dealership. Charged me $80 for a scan to tell me my problem MIGHT be a MAF, or maybe a PCU. Oh, ok, thanks alot. Anyone with a later 99 SVT that would let me swap out the MAF for 10 min before I buy a new one? There may be beer involved as a bribe. Can anyone help a brother out? I'm outta $$ to keep guessing, and I need to get it running right to install my X-mas present (Thrush glasspack instead of res:laugh: ). Let me know if anyone can help out. Thanks guys.

hey scott. i have a spare one from my old motor. now i have a pro flow so if you still need one to see if its the problem give me a call. (734)306-2942

I took one off at the junkyard recently but didn't take it, it's probably in the same hidding spot that I left it in. I can easily run back and grab it if you need it.

Hopefully this will solve your problem!!

Keep us posted Scott. I hope it works.

Ryan, if I can't hook up w/ Grant, maybe we can meet up over the weekend? Depend on how long it will take to get to Blairsville and then back. For some reason, I thought yu had a 98.

Nothing good. We switched Grant's Pro-M for my MAF, no luck. Then he gave me a coil to try, still same. Replaced the neg. battery cable, also. Tonight I gotta test the voltage to the TPS, don't know what else. The neg. battery cable had melted at some point, and it looked as if the battery had contacted the hood, so I don't know what all that could have screwed up. Going on 2 months that the car hasn't driven right, Just don't know what I can do? I cn't even think about it now, it makes me too sad. Is there a way to test a PCM?

Damn!

At least you got the battery cable replaced, IMO that's better than just fixing it up since you had issues with melting.

Have you tried a completely different set of wires? I know you just got the Magnacore's back and installed them but how about "borrowing" a set from Autozone for sh$ts and giggles??

Nothing else I can think of at this time. Sorry! I wish I was more help.

I might, but if they don't do the trick, I don't think I can return them, and I can't afford to just drop $$$ if it's not gonna fix it. But that maybe the route I have to go anyway.

Advanced auto let's you return them. Or atleast I have before. I bought a set of wires for my RX7, and they didn't fit too well, they took them back without question.

You can return them Scott.
Normally, they don't even question you as to why you are returning them. I took a set back and just said I didn't need them.

It can't hurt to give it a try. Hope it works.
**fingers crossed**
