ok im about to install a UD alt pulley (the one from the nima's gb)

do i need to get a longer belt ?? since the pulley is a little bit bigger than the original alt pulley, do i have to replace the belt ??

well you might be ok, with both pulleys my tensioner was off center, with just the ps pulley since I am having an alternator issue the 73 inch belt puts the tensioner right in the middle ...

but on a side note, anyone with the alternator pulley experience low voltage at idle with a load?

On this subject does anybody know of anybody that bought extra pullies during the GB?As I did not have the cash at the time.Thanxs in advanced

ok i hope it will work with the same belt, and i hope i will not have to much voltage problem.

i just got mine from somebody who got it from the gb but never installed it, but im still seaching for the P/S pulley

ok i hope it will work with the same belt, and i hope i will not have to much voltage problem.

well with no load and a good alternator I say 14.7 volts, now add a very high load, high beams and ac and my volts dropped to about 13 and I got dimming head lights, so I am not sure it is the pulley or the car itself as this is happening with a normally pulley on my alternator with a very high load at idle

I also have dimming headlights from the asp crank pulley. Its kind of annoying some times and it doesn't really affect my high beams for some reason.

if i use both pulley (DMD and alt) or just if i get a p/s one later ?

the DMD is the same size as the stock pulley ... with both the alt and p/s pulleys you will need a 73 inch belt

right now I only have the p/s pulley installed and I am using the 73 inch belt and the tensioner is right in the middle so you should be able to use the stock belt with just the alt pulley
