I got home yesterday from class and pulled the car in the garage. The car was in first gear and I pushed in the clutch and revved the engine to about 4,000 rpms and the car actually jumped forward a little bit. WTF! Decided to put it in reverse, push in the clutch, revved it up to about 6,000 rpms and it jumped backwards with a little bit more jolt since I revved it up higher. Any ideas what would call this? Early signs of a clutch going out? Air in the lines? I hit a massive pothole earlier this sunday and messed up quite bit of the front suspension as well as cracking a wheel. I doubt this is related, but I figured I would mention it. Any clutch guru's?

I found a few posts with people with this exact problem. Bleeding the clutch solved it for some while others it did not. Some people believed it may be a bad slave cylinder. Nobody that posted their problem resolved their problem. Looks like its time for the guess and check method.

i was sitting in the garage and had it in N and it was moving a little. push the clutch in and it stoped moveing. odd

Thats is exactly the same problem with my car, In my case it is getting worse because now the shifts are hard to get in and out. I bleeded the clutch, but with no changes.

I took the car to my mechanic and he bleeded again the clutch (just in case). Again, nothing changed. Then, he told me that the pressure plate could be in bad shape.

I posted this issue a couple of months ago, as my first post (LOL), and a guy (don't remember his name, sorry) told me that he fixed the problem until he changed the complete clutch kit.

As todras say, maybe just bleeding the clutch will resolve the problem, if not... well, maybe you will need say byebye to some dollars.
