CEL P0122 need help!

for the second day now the idle has been werid. when i start the car in the moring it doesnt want to say at idle. it will drop to 500 or below and then stall out. then when its warm it idles at 1100 rpms and doesnt want to drop down to the regular 750-800rpm. when to auto zone and got the P0122 code. i bought a new TPS

TPS / Pedal Position
Sensor A
Circuit Low Input

But when i installed the new one it would idle at 1100 and not drop at all.
Also when taking it out of gear and crusing in Nuetral it would sometimes stall out .

can anyone help me.

Sorry its a 99 csvt with 128k miles.

Some reasons for that code could be

1) TP sensor damaged (or wiring, shorted to ground or open ) or connector.
2) PCM failed.

As you have a new TPS sensor, check wiring and connector first. If that checks out, get a real time scan or freeze frame data and post.

Also make sure you installed the TPS correctly. I think BrApple posted how it is supposed to be installed.
