A call for help from anyone on here. Anyone that has an original window sticker for their Contour, can you please copy/photograph/scan, etc a pic of it. I'm trying to create my own and see all the various options. If I get enough, I could possibly make them for CEG.

Right now I'm working with Richard from the SVT Performence forums. He told me he is interested in making replica window stickers for SVT Contours only, if he can get a templet, etc. I'll try to arrange a GB with him if the dealer option doesn't work, or is too expensive.

A replica of an original sticker is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard of. To each his own. Call a dealer and ask them if they will print one up. Cana't hurt.

From my research there is an age limit. I emailed a guy at Ford and he said they couldn't go back to '98 for my car. If it was a few years old it could be done. I know the dealers get the cars from the factory with the stickers on them. I'm waiting to hear back from a buddy on what a dealer can do.

There are a few of us second owners lucky enough to have everything that came with the car. I still have the original key ring tag for mine.

I have the original bill of sale, window sticker, warranty sticker, and all of the original paperwork from the financing office. I don't know if it will ever matter because the car will never leave my ownership, but since I had all of that stuff I have kept every single receipt. Down to individual nuts and bolts from O'really's and Audible Zone. I am a pack rat [troutslap/]

i called the ford dealer for my window sticker but they said i have to call the dealer where the car was originaly bought from new. how can i find out where my car was original sold from new?

Hence the reason I started all of this, and am trying to offer replacement stickers.

For everyone that posted on here about having your original sticker, can you please post a copy of it on here?

I don't have a scanner at home or at work. I may be able to work something out for us on Saturday. It depends on if my friend is gonna be in town. Mine has been folded into quarters for 8 years but I suppose we can edit out the creases using photoshop. I can't promise anything at this point so if some one else has access now, go ahead and post one up!!!

Mine will show options for the Sunroof and Smoker's Package, but no spoiler. Silver Frost on Midnight Blue

Whatever you can get is appreciated, thanks!

So you'll be set if you get one from each model change?

You'd need at least 4 (E0/E1/99/00) to correctly show prices.

And it's a good thing the Contour only had a few options, makes this a lot easier...

(can you tell I'm interested?)

Man, affordable!

Now a days, $23K won't net you much in the midsize "performance" category under $25K...

240hp Chevy Malibu SS - $23,395

200hp Dodge Stratus R/T - $23,755

221hp Ford Fusion SEL (w/ opt V6) - $22,485

244hp Honda Accord LX V6 - $25,200

263hp Hyundai Azera SE - $24,335

235hp Hyundai Sonota SE - $20,995

215hp Mazda6s - $23,010

221hp Mercury Milan - $23,295

230hp Mitsubishi Galant GTS - $24,999

250hp Nissan Altima 3.5SE - $23,600

224hp Pontiac G6 GT - $22,115

260hp Pontiac Grand Prix GT - $24,480

268hp Toyota Camry SE V6 - $24,315

200hp Volkswagen Passat - $22,960

Those are your new midsize >190hp sedans for less than $25K... Only the Stratus R/T and the Malibu SS are "performance" cars... others are basic models. None are "factory performance" cars, as they all use a basic engine setup (not model and trim specific in most cases).
