What K&N Filter?

So I got on KNfilters.com and tired to find a filter like the on in the ebay link below. Since there're about about 20 million filters on the site it's impossible to find the one you want unless you already know the part number you are looking for. So does anyone have a K&N Filter with an open end on it like the one below so I can get a part number? THANKS!

Everyone just gets the RU-3530. Plus, theres been debate whether filters like the one shown are as good as a standard conical filter. Because of the inverted cone, supposedly it can create turbulent air flow. As a result, the gains compared to regular conical filter are less. I think someone dyno tested these two kinds of filters and the one youve shown there dynoed 1 hp less. Probably not a big deal since back to back dyno pulls vary more than that anyways, but im just stating that theoretically it can create turbulent air flow. Any reason why you want a filter like that compared to the RU-3530?
 
Well my reason was just for the idea of getting use of the factor air supply right there where the end of the filter butts up to the plastic opening coming out of the inside fender right there... But If this is the case with those type of filters not being as good i'll just go with a normal K&N like that one. Thanks for the info!
 
My k&N has the filter at the top but it is not inverted,I guess its one of the older ones.I have seen alot of ppls cars on hear and at the top of the filter it has a black cap,anybody know the difference betwen the two?

I also took the snorkel out I think it helps alot!
 
I have the k&n rx-4730. It is open-ended and fits up perfectly to the stock snorkel.

yep thats the one I have!I had mine hooked to the snorkel for a while but decided to take it off.IMO Its much better with the snorkel off because it leaves a big open area of air to flow through.
