I have been a fan of the site for a while,...''Long time listener first time caller...'' kind of thing. Can anyone out there give some suggestions on where to purchase new front headlight lens assemblies, both sides? Mine are shot: scratched, faded/weathered, water condensation, attachment points are cracked and broken as well, etc. I havent been able to find suitable replacements at the salvage yard. And the going price online for new ones is $200 per side. This seems a bit much for a purely cosmetic job, as both are still functional. I had no idea replacement would be $400. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

You might check with Bill Jenkins at Team Ford in Las Vegas. He did have a special package price deal on headlights for much less than most dealers charge.

You might also try a Google search. When I chaecked a couple of years ago they were readily available for about $125.00 each. They were probably not OEM though. Often eBay has them as well.

Also try Steve Tousley at Tousley Ford:

This is the same as employee cost and amounts to about 30-40% off list on Ford and 40-50% off list on Motorcraft parts.

We carry a 2.5 million dollar inventory spanning approximately 40,000 part numbers.

This offer is for any and all OEM Ford parts you need, Freight is billed at cost with a $6.50 minimum for UPS ground.

We ship UPS daily with the last pick up being at 6:00 pm central time.

I do not charge extra for special orders and I will accept returns on unused parts providing you pay the freight coming back to me.

I can be reached from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Mon-Fri at 1-800-328-9552 ask for Steve or Mike M.

He sells headlights for $98.57 each. I ordered 2 headlights, and 5 replacement screws, and it came to $216.99 total.

Many have complained of aftermarket light fitment. If you haven't ordered those yet, I'd seriously cionsider going OE and spending a bit more, You'll appreciate the fitment.

Bill's lights were OE, just part of the crash parts side. So he had to buy in 5-10 pairs at a time, but the price was lower than the standard lights and are teh same OE lights that came on teh cars.

ebay is by far the cheapest if you can find it. As far as fitment is concerned, I can't really talk though: my replacement headlight ($35 off ebay, brand new.) is taped in, atm.

I got some TYC(?) headlights from eBay and they both fit well and still look good after a couple years. I've heard that people had trouble with Depot headlights.

Steve at Tousley Ford is awesome, he got me my Torsen and all the goodies! Hehe, also nice when the place is only a 20min drive from my house
