12v switched source for V1 and Sat radio

After very long searches here in all the various old and archived forums, I am unable to locate information on where to hardware in a radar detector (V1) or Sat radio (Sirius).

I did find a How-To on hardwiring in a V1 on a CSVT with a moonroof but since my CSVT doesn't have a moonroof, doesn't apply.

Wiring directly into the fusebox using fuse taps would be a last resort and cob job wiring is unacceptable.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I hard wired mine into my CD player. Seems to work for me.

No problem, its really easy to do... turns on when you start your car, and off when you shut it down.

I have no spares hanging around, but if you and 7 other people commit to it, i'll build them.
