Hello,
My car broke down due to AC compressor stuck with the belt broken. I need to bring the car back home about 70 miles. How do I replace a belt without using the AC compressor pulley? What is the size of the belt without the AC compressor? Appreciate your assistance.

You are unlikely to find Mercedes-specific info on a Ford Contour forum. To give a general answer, on some cars you can bypass one accessory like the AC using a shorter belt, on others you can't, due to the pulley layout. You could get the length about right using a piece of string. When my wife's Ford Freestyle had a siezed AC compressor / clutch, I was able to limp it home with no belt - but on that car the water pump is driven off the cam not the serpentine belt, so I was "only" lacking power steering and alternator. Not sure that it was exactly safe as the steering was VERY stiff.

Also - if the issue is an internally seized AC compressor and the clutch/pulley bearing is OK, you might be able to put on a new normal belt and just don't use the AC at all for the trip. On my wife's car it was the pulley bearing so that wasn't an option.
