Black out

I have spent this weekend getting ready for Nopi Nationals. One of the things on my list this weekend was to bake my headlights. Well after running around yesterday I sat down and started reading the how-to. I thought to myself, self screw that. So my lazy a$$ went to discount and bought some black headlights. So this morning I took pics of the blackouts and my other accomplishments.

so does any light come out of those headlights?

hightowers look a million times better, and are worth the work. I spent 4 hours on mine.

tint the rear reflector and tails for the perfect blakced out look! and either hightower, or just paint silver frost eyelids woudl look better then the covers!

I have not tried it yet but it’s advertised that you can. But that means really means nothing.

The next thing I probably will do is tint the tail lights.

IMO those lense covers are sooo tacky. But thats just my opinion. Hightowers on SF looks SOOOOO good. But to each his own.

Not a fan of covers at all, but if you like them then cool. I CANT WAIT FOR NOPI NATIONALS NEXT WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!

imo headlight covers are what kids put on their cars because they dont know how to do a nice custom job. hightowers are soo easy after you try on a practice headlight

I guess I’m weird, I think the lens makes the car look more aggressive. I’m still going bake the headlights but not till after nopi. I have to get that fungus that is growing in my headlight. :laugh:

dont sweat it man I like the covers on a silver frost. I have a set myself. there are pics in the old forums. Cant wait for nopi myself. i got some suprises in store for you guys. been under the hood and everywhere for over 2 wks now! Still not done either. got parts on the way still lol
