Ok so I am seriously considering selling my svt or possibly trading it. If the right price or trade doesn't come along then I will keep it. First off if I trade the other car must not be a black svt. I am wanting a t-red, sil-fro, or t-green. It doesn't matter if it's a 2.5 or a 3L. I would rather lean toward a 2.5 but like I said 3L will work. I also want it to have suspension work with newer tires. I do not want a fixer upper....I want something with little to zero issues. Anything major don't bother. So here are the details about my car..

GOOD:
- 98 svt EO blk/mnb w/ 257k miles on body 60K miles approx on motor
- ported 3L w/ 3L cams
- msds headers
- main cat cut out w/ stock exhaust
- stock transmission w/ stage 2 competition clutch
- ebay air filter
- new serp belt, all water hoses have been replaced, ps pump replaced recently and is refurb OEM
- new refurb alt installed 02/11
- less than 10k miles rear pads
- paint is fairly nice...front bumper repainted May 2010
- pre-98 trunk w/ spoiler
- all 4 jp covers and mesh is intact
- has fog light mod
- AC works great and blows out where it is suppose to
- No CEL's right now
- NO LEAKS at all!

BAD:
- paint does have a couple of places where the clear is coming off on the roof, mirrors, and pass front fender but they aren't bad and paint still shines
- needs tires and alignment
- driver seat has tear in the bolster
- antenna goes up and down but needs help going down...lol but does have pre-98 base
- 3rd brake light broke but will throw in newer one
- cracked windshield

All in all the car is a great car. I am just tired of owning a black one. I have owned it since 2003. It drives good, shifts great, and for the most part everything works on it. The 3L was done by 3L duratec. Me and OB1 installed it. Originally the motor came out of a wrecked t-red that bought last year. It has a base tune right now but could get more out of it with a dyno tune.

The only other issue is it did catch fire last year. Ford installed an alt and pulled the mega fuse out of it's location causing it to bounce around and spark a fire. Luckily I was in fron of the same dealer when it happened so I was able to put it out before it damaged the car too much. The exterior didn't get any damage. The fire did burn all vacuum hoses, coil pack, and some of the insulation on the fire wall. This was all replaced but I still have a gas fume smell. I am going to try and fix it before the sell it. The car does run fine tho and does not leak gas.

I have tried to be as honest as I can but if you have any questions please pm me. There have been several members on here who have seen this car in person and can vouch for it. Like I said if the right deal doesn't present itself then I will keep it. Price and location are as follows:

bump the price is neg....I need to sell it so I can get another car. I want another svt just a different color.
 
Will also bump this as this is a great looking car. Glws brian. Hopefully mine will be gone today, again.
 
man i wish u were closer i really like your car. i have a slvr frst. it runs great & strong. it is all stock. only flaws is the paint has some scratches here & there & the jps are missing. but everything else is in excelllent running order. new brakes, ebrake cables,plugs,wires,alternator,battery, front shocks,wheel bearings,tires, a/c charged & new accumalator, belts,there are a couple other things too just cant remember off hand. all have been done in the last 7 months. car has 135k miles on it.
 
trades anyone? I would do a even trade for a 2.5 with suspension work as long as the body is good and isn't black.
 
Bump for a nice looking ride. Man Grogan, this looks real clean and it is a nice 3L. Not to mention how good this engine sounds!
 
Thanks for the compliments guys........I really hate getting rid of it but I really want another color svt. I also wouldn't mind a tan interior either. Of course if I get a sil-fro I know it will have to be mnb.
 
Anyone??? I am open to offers or trades that are with in reasonable driving distance or if the right deal is available. I would probably do an even trade for a different color stock svt that is in good shape with newer suspension. I should also have the gas smell taken care as well. i dont think it is a copper pipe. it looks like 4 gauge wire for an amp. it has the fuse block on it. thats where the elec. tape is.

It is 2 guage power wire and the gold piece is the fuse holder. It isn't hooked up at the moment. Just forgot that it was in the pic.

Btw I'm open to offers on the car. I won't be offended by the price.

i have a 2.5 silver frost svt in great shape other than a recent hail damage but its actually very minimal damage hardly noticeable. not like WOAH hail damage. but car runs awesome everything works and always ran synthetic. id drive that sucker cross country. and i have a set of b&g springs sitting in the kitchen..

Thanks for the offer but you live a bit too far away plus I would prefer the suspension to already be done. What year and mileage do you have tho so I can keep my options open?
 
im in ohio lol but i have a 2000 sf/mb build number #995 with 125 on the body and 88k on the motor.sachs clutch has 3500 on it everything works. bone stock down to the intake.
 
bump for final price drop....any lower and I will keep it. I have too much money invested in it to go any lower.
