Does anyone know of a good local body shop that is reasonable? The Contour was bumped this morning while I was inside the convenient store. The driver fled and left the front bumper missing some paint. What I need is to have the front bumper sanded, primered and repainted. So needless to say, I'm a little sad today.

I'm up here in Yankeeland, so I won't be too much help to you in finding a body shop that's a great value (though I do have one). However, how comfortable are you doing a little cleaning up, wetsanding, and buffing? If its just a graze, you may be able to make a big difference without laying out any money.

I wish it were that easy. Its scratched into the plastic and the paint is gone, so I will have to get it prepped and painted. I wish it had been a graze. I will probably do some of the prep work myself to make sure everything is smooth before the new paint is applied. Thanks for the help though.

Wow i know sooner sell you the car and this..Did you ever get the scratch fixed on the pass side.

I've heard good things about Magnum Collision and Cherokee Collision up your way.

If you really want quality, come on over to Snellville to Martens Collision. They do some custom car work and collision. They painted a new bumper on my car when I got rear-ended and it was flawless!

I cleaned it up last night when I got home and it looks a little better. Looks like $300 will cover the price at the local shop to make the bumper like new again.
