Hello everyone, everything good? I'm in the final details of the restoration, now we have it working, running, currently doing the final suspension part
currently what has been done...
-button trim and sunroof machine was installed
-instrument cluster cover trim was installed
-All finishes were reinforced with fiberglass behind to avoid cracking.
-LEDs were placed in the breaklight and installed back in place with the cover
-spare tire lock has been redone
-new ford fusion trunk shock absorbers
-radio repaired and renovated with new LEDs and bluetooh connection (Retro mode)
-doors and locks and lubricated glass tracks
-I had the driver's side air diffuser produced on a 3D printer
-I bought the driver's electric seat control
-front airbag crash cells installed
-original temperature sensor installed and working
-How I used a Ford Fusion oil switch for the dashboard light and it works in reverse. I had to reverse the polarity with a relay
-sunrooffilm removed
-the carpets were removed, washed and cleaned and repainted (fabric paint)
-Driver and passenger seat rails with restored, painted and oiled rails
-suspension almost finished, with a rear bar that was bent to be changed
-the entire rear frame was painted and the bars
-a new flexible pipe was made from the exhaust manifold to the rest of the car's exhaust
-All electric motors for the driver's seat were purchased and already installed with the new threaded mechanism from the Mustang
-new tires installed
-rear bumper chrome strip installed
-rear bumper reinforced with fiberglass core.
Many things are coming, but now missing:
-I bought a new power steering pump, I tried to restore the old one, but the repair kit doesn't last long...
-check all speakers
-change the radiator water tank, it has already been purchased
-Possibly think about an oil cooler, because the pressure drops a lot due to the temperature.
-check for gasoline leaks when filling the tank
-restore the entire air conditioning system and open the compressor to renovate
-fix all the leather on the car seats
-finish the rest of the car bodywork
-cover the arch of the side spoilers with fiberglass
-Attach the driver's side headlight again as it is loose
-make the sunroof part with a 3d printer too
Today let's say that the current state of the car is 70% redone. but it is never more to say that things appear. I believe that by the end of this year I will finish...
Next year the car turns 30, here we have the right to exchange license plates for collector plates, we will also do that.
