I can't find a sleeve listed for the 3L. Funy because someone HAS to make them being that the 3l block has sleevs in it...

If someone knows where to get one please lemme know.

Or if any of you have a 3l block for sale.

Thanks in advance

i understand it as the sleeves are cast-in liners...

any company who makes sleeves should be able to make a set for you, but I'm not sure I would trust the integrity of the block once they are pressed in...

Given that a 3L block can be had for a few hundred dollars, it would make the cost to bore out, and re-sleeve the engine quite prohibitive. Unless of course you were trying to do a radical overbore, in which case I would be cautious about getting the cylinders to close, and thus rendering the block useless.

Yeah, basically what Puck said. You don't want to bore it out much if at all.

Cheaper to get a good block. Resleaving should be okay but since the cylinders are cast-in you woul have to make the new sleave small enough to fit inside the old cylinder liner bored out, pretty difficult I think.

Soooo not worth it.

Hey thanks for the replies guys. I was just hoping that I could use the block or the heads.

Buckshot may have a block for me. :)
