Flip Down Ipod Holder Mod

This is my first real mod that i have actually done on my SVT. So i figured i would post it online and see what you guys think. Well, i wanted to do something with my ipod adapter thing because it was getting annoying plugged in by the cigarette lighter. So, i got myself a hinge and installed it under the center console. I ran the 12v wire back behind the console and tied it into the cigarette lighter wires.

This is the drivers seat view. You can see a thin white strip under the console but that is it.

This is the side view. The black tape is just a temporary way of holding the ipod transmitter to the hinge. I haven't thought of a clean looking solution yet.

I think that an investment in two sided tape would be greatly appreciated by the Car Gods.

Ya, i think that is what i am gonna end up doing. I didn't want to glue it just in case something breaks and then i would have a hard time fixing it.
