Good place to buy door speakers

All of my stock speakers died on me within a few weeks, and I'm in dire need of some new ones.
My main concern is cost. Cheaper the better, but I obviously want something that won't blow in a few weeks and doesn't sound like paper.
So where would be a place to find quality, cheap door speakers?

Oh, and how much would I be looking at to have these installed by either a member here or a place? I'm not too fond of wires or this cold.

EDIT: I live in Detroit, Michigan

Need to replace that head unit first. As I understand it, our cars have two levels of radios- crap and sh*t. Anyways, if you're not looking for $300 Alpine Type R's or anything, I would just go down to Best Buy, Circuit City, maybe even Walmart and pick something up. You need 5x7/6x8 size. I think Best Buy's 2 speaker install runs $40, so for all 4 you would be looking at $80. I don't know many local CEG'rs here in the EGL, but one of them might be willing to do it for less. Installing speakers in these cars is not hard. All you need are some wire connectors (heat shrink too if you like to be fancy like me) a #2 Philips screw driver, a stubby philips screwdriver or flex shaft driver, and maybe a drill if your new speaker's mounting holes don't quite line up. In December, I removed my front Infinity Ref.'s, my rear stockers, installed the Infinity Ref.'s in the back, and a new set of Infinity KAPPA Perfects in the front in about 1-1.5 hours taking my time and including clean-up. I will warn you that I had Best Buy install the Infinity References in the front in 2005 because I didn't feel like doing it, and they used a poor choice of quick connectors. I ended up having the redo it all myself this past summer when BOTH of the speakers came unplugged in the doors within a day of each other. It made me worry that the channels in my head unit had gone out or something, when it was really just a poor install from Best Buy.

You can usually get a pair of Alpine Type-S 5x7's off of ebay for pretty cheap. I had them in my old SVT, and I thought they sounded really good, especially compared to the factory speakers. I'm looking to do the same in my LS. Or you could do a google search, and find some good deals. If you don't want to order online, your obvious bets are Best Buy and any other local stereo shop.

It really depends on what exactly you are looking for, do you plan on upgrading the stereo more? or dont really care so much about quality? If you want factory replacements, I bet you anything that Scott (bagged) has a set sitting in his garage hes willing to let go cheap if you offer to pick them up.

if you do care about sound quality, but dont want to break the bank...

Pioneer TS-A6872R - Excellent inexpensive speakers. I had some similar to these (an older design) in my pre98 contour, along with a nice JVC headunit and I ALWAYS got complements on how good my stereo sounded. More complements came when I added a couple of Earthquake subs with a Rockford fosgate Amp :D

but I digress, I think if you want a nicer sounding stereo, check out the pioneers.

But I have an SE with an add on Slave CD unit from a 2000 Mustang GT with a Mach Stereo...you have to have the Premium sound for the CD swap. The speakers are Pioneers..easy switch out-they are made to fit Mazda/Ford/Mercury cars/trucks. 6X8's. If you need the model number f the speakers let me know. I priced them out at Best Buy and Wal Mart....$120.00 for 2 at Best Buy,,,,$56.00 for 2 at Walmart-smae ones too....but as I said you can find cheap ones on Ebay....Tour
