yup its offical my daily driver 99T-red csvt #2523 rolled 200,000 miles on the original engine and tranny. at the end of today it was at 200,152. Shes been good only had to replace typical stuff over the years 1/clutch, brake pads,oil changes,wheel bearing,drive axle, and a whole lot of tires:laugh: ! At this rate I'm seriously thinking of selling my other T-red. anyone else running with this mileage on a stock svt? I by no means baby her shes riden hard and put away wet everynite:laugh: ! Best ford I've ever owned. The salesman I talked to today couldnt believe the mileage on it. He was impressed. Oh yeah I was there consindering my next toy order "Skyline".
 
200k on stock engine and tranny? Thats rarely heard of. Congrats.. Just a little more til you hit my mark, but I also have a zetec. So a little different situation. Again congrats.

what? There are a lot of members on here who have hit well over 200K miles on their tours with stock engine and tranny and clutch.
 
im coming up on 190k on my 99. New diff, I changed the clutch and flywheel for SPECs. I still have the stock ones in my storage unit if that counts. Ford techs always comment on how good the car looks/runs for the mileage.
 
DANG!!!! I love to hear all these contiques with high miles. I just broke 100,000 miles on my 4 cylinder automatic contour. I was so excited to joing the 100k club. I plan on keeping her until the wheels fall off.
 
I passed 200,000 kms a little while back, unfortunately I am having trans issues. So am using the car as around town. Its too bad because the engine is great and the body looks almost new. Original paint and all.

If its that good I would spend the cash to get a new trans.
 
i have 117k miles and none of the drivetrain is original except maybe the axles........all of it crapped out at about the same time 100k
 
Im at 175,000 miles but just had to put a new clutch and tranny with 90,000 miles on it. I also plan on keepin this car till the wheels fall off...or as long as my girlfriend lets it live! :p
