There is a current drain somewhere in my '97 Mystique's electrical system, causing the battery to run down in a couple of days unless I disconnect it when I'm not using it.
I'm systematically removing fuses and relays in an effort to pin down the offending circuit. I've checked all the small fuses and the relays. However, I cannot get the remaining 5 large fuses out.
Do I need a special tool to do so... or is it technique that I'm lacking?
The ones in question are numbered 1, 2, 3 and 9, 10.
Numbers 1-3 are grouped together in a sort of carrier. I can unlatch that carrier and pull it up about 1/2", but it appears that all the connected wires try to come out with it. It seems like these fuses should come out individually. I just don't want to break something by doing it incorrectly.
Regards... Mike
