I swapped interiors with turbo_fox on Saturday.

Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to start on his interior. :( We started before 9am and finished around 10:30pm, with a ton of help from several NE-CEGers as well. He's going to have quite the project -- as we started rushing to take apart my interior, we stopped labeling pieces and screws.

I got the center console and radio bezel in tonight. Will have pics of final result tomorrow when it is light out.

Still left:
- find a MNB Airbag (E0 had a different connector; likely Second Gen related)
- cigarette outlet is dead, and the outlet's light is lit 24/7 so I disconnected it for now
- Driver's side rear seat does not line up with latch so it is folded down for now
- need a gearshift leather boot
- I left some screws at turbo_fox's house for various small trim pieces

I completed the same thing. And about the cigarette lighter deal, I'm still yet to figure that out. it's a pain but i personally like the blue better than the tan. but that's because my original PT was shot. The original carpet was glued to the metal of the floor by coffee.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!

Blue rhymes with PPPPooooooo, trade it back, trade it back!

sexcellent.

Man, after looking at some of those pictures, it's a wonder that you're able to get it all back together afterward.

bishop - I have your old SVT's old floormats. :) I also have brand new replica floormats from Falcon, purchased from turbo_fox.
This interior comes from a bunch of different cars.

locogringo - dashboard, glovebox, some other pieces I have forgotten
bishop375 - floor mats
reebs - steering wheel
turbo_fox - all other interior pieces

I can't stop staring at the SVT now, it is so beautiful.

I have the shift boot still. I didn't realize you gave me your boot, so that means I have an extra.

Since I hadn't started putting the tan in my car, I hadn't noticed yet.

Nice work Matt! Can't wait to see it. T-Red and MNB = best color combo.

Now if it was Black and PT, I'd have to kill you for changing it.

I dunno I just think of like ferraris and how all the red ones always came with tan/black interior, thats why I think you should have kept it.

I much prefer the PT interior but I know rouar is a hugh MNB fan and really wanted a EO T-red/mnb SVT .... he is just making it as close to what he wanted as he can.

However I can see how the mnb does go well with the t-red

There are some tan interiors I like, but overall I prefer darker interiors.
The MNB looks a little funky next to some colors, but in a T-Red car it is perfect.

Some more from this evening ... just in the driveway. I removed the airbag and parked the car for now. All pics link to higher res.

You'll just need to swap clock springs to make the bag work. I know the cars aren't worth much but I don't think I would have swapped interiors. Just kind of ruins the cars authenticity. FWIW MNB and Tred rock the house.
