Well today the car had to be towed to the mechs shop to get fixed i could no longer figure it out..

And just like that shes GONE..She left without saying anything..She'll be back i know it..
 
Yes Joe, she is only going to go see a "qualified" mechanic to get fixed up, and she wil return to you, better then ever before!!
 
Just went threw that myself. Had to get it towed to Aamco to fix the tranny... $1300 to fix it... but thats not all... had to send it to a garage to get the car serviced... another $926. Oh and its back in the driveway... with a puddle of oil under it... i cant win. Hope you have more luck then me buddy. GL
 
My Master Cylinder went bad after talking to 96blackse about my problems he pointed that out to me so i told the mech to look at that first sure enought its bad...2hr fix he didnt tell me yet how much it will be but oh well dont care just want my baby back in my garage..Give her a oil change and start running Mobil 1 threw it ( Castrol GTX is in there now )..

I treat my car very well just every now and then gotta give her some gas that wasnt the problem there was a spec stage 2 clutch in there that chattered from the start and im guessing from the master being out it wore out the clutch?..Since it was slipping..

After all said and done came to $1,399.15

Garage Trip:
- Wiper Blades $21.90
- Platinum Spark Plugs $53.94
- Ignition Wires $76.04
- BG Decarb Kit $44.95
- Exuast Hanger $19.95
- BG Crankshaft Quick Clean $19.95
- Shop Supplies Fee $25.00
- Partmaster oil Filter $8.95
- Pennzoil Motor Oil $13.00
- BG Power Steering Flush Kit $39.99
- BG Brake Flush Kit $24.95
- Alot of **** replaced, lubed, and checked $322.48
All in all after discounds and crap was $929.06
They did alot of other stuff. Oh and new set up tires... forgot what kinds but they are f**king awesome!

- BG Decarb Kit $44.95 Couldof done that your self, and would of been a better job 15 dollars a few cans and rags
- Exuast Hanger $19.95 Wow i got my muffler welded on for that price.
- BG Crankshaft Quick Clean $19.95 ????
- Shop Supplies Fee $25.00 ????? For what lunch?
- Partmaster oil Filter $8.95 motorcraft filter 4 dollars
- Pennzoil Motor Oil $13.00 alittle high but okay.
- BG Power Steering Flush Kit $39.99 Not needed, unless the Ps was replaced or you have tons of mileage.
- BG Brake Flush Kit $24.95 Why flush your brakes, did you get new calipers?

going to have to agree with Harry, you got robbed.

All of that stuff is extremely easy to do and can be done with an afternoon of your time. Hell if you lived around me, if you would have thrown me $100 I would have done it all for you.
