Ok, let me start at the begining so you guys and gals understand what I'm trying to do. :laugh:
I own a 1990 Camaro RS V8 that I'm in the process of restoring and modifying. And I was looking for alternatives for my power windows and power lock switches. I remember a friend of mine had a CSVT which I liked quite alot, and those switches would be perfect. I work for Ford so I see these switches fairly often. So I nabbed them from a salvage yard off of a 1999/2000 model. They were the passenger front and rear switches. The power locks switch I think was the driver front.
Contour - Camaro - Focus
I was able to successfully wire in the power window switches with no problem. Except that they don't light up which would be because the black wire isn't connected? My plan is to put these switches in the dash BTW.
Now my problem is the power locks switch. I can get the switch to lock the doors but not unlock. That's where I need help. I need a detailed wiring diagram of the power locks switch.
I also would like to know what the black wires do in the window switches as well as the power locks switch. Any help is greatly appreciated.
