one piece stainless steel valves??

So I'm working with BPE Racing to do my head work as far as port & polish, but I'd like to upgrade to one piece stainless steel valves... do these exist? I know of Noble owners replacing valve springs, but nothing I can find on valves...
 
I'm not aware of any stainless valves being available for any of the Duratec engines. If a Zetec valve can fit a Duratec head, there are 30 mm stainless exhaust valves available through Ford Racing. The Zetec stainless intake valves are 33 mm which is too small (Duratec 3.0 uses 35 mm intakes?).

What do you mean by "one-piece valves?" I'm scratching my head and thinking "Is there such a thing as a two-piece valve?"

One piece... meaning... one piece :laugh:... Most OEM valves are a two piece valve the stem being its own piece.

I found a company to make me custom valves. They are of good quality and the company has made many valves for Ferrari applications so they know whats up. The company many of you may know... Manley. Going to be expensive though... about double what a factory OEM valve would cost. However since they are custom I can have them made larger and it's only an additional $45 to have all of my ports opened up to accept them. Only problem I have now is I do not know what the piston to valve clearance is. I don't want to drop $1k on my heads only to find out that I can't use them because the reliefs in my pistons are not large enough.

I had no idea that most OEM valves (or any engine valves) are two piece systems. How do they do this? Make the stem and valve head separate then heat the head while cooling the stem and pressing them together then letting cooling bond the two together? Kind of like how train wheels are fused to the axle shafts?
