After doing a few of these I have decided to remove the water manifold connection and move it out of the way. It frees up the left hand 13 mm bolt so you can actually get it out quickly. If you keep the radiator cap on then you only loose about 1/3 to a 1/2 gallon of antifreeze but it speeds up removing and reinstalling the difficult left bolt.
