i just watched the whole show i kinda thought that they were going to the the video of the little hamster crashing into a wall but they showed actuall footage

They showed it on the news last night...from what I recall, alcohol dragster with speed in excess of 240 and a tire blew out. Looked pretty bad...

I dont know if you guys heard about this when it happened but it stunned the country and the PC group were calling for the show to be canned.
The dragster is out of a RAF Red Arrows Plane and the first run Hamster clocked 240mph. Second run he clocked 314mph (fastest anyone has travelled in the uk (no landspeed record becasue of the return run in 1 hour rule) and when the tyre blew he was doing 288mph.
When he rolled over and the roll cage dug in he was still doing 230mph.
