Went to the track last night...

Pretty fun night. Made a few passes. Track prep was lousy, traction was awful, but we had a ton of fun...

Plus the POPS (Pony on pony shootout) guys let anyone who is ford powered run, so we ran with them. I ended up bringing a 3rd place award... Pretty good for my first time out with the car. Wish I had more time to let it cool off, the hot laps were killing my times...

sorry about the bad quality of the pics but i had to use my old digital camera.....

but here are my time slips, the one all the way on the end is me and andys little race...... (dam him for knocking me out of the time bracket!! LOL JK)

and the other run i did was a 16.226 at 87.15 MPH, i could not take a good photo of my other time slip because my old digital cam died on me:nonono:

yea well those were mine and my car is all stock besides my exhaust... and it was my first time at the track..... so after some more mods and a little practice, i will shave my times down....:laugh: well i hope lol


and some of the peoples faces when we lined up with the POPS people were great...... almost ever one was confused why there were contours with the mustang guys!!!

The track conditions weren't great either. It was cool but humid... Track wasn't prepped worth either.

well the biggest reason i did not do better was because i did not lunch the car hard at all, i was to afraid of breaking the diff. saving up for LSD!!!:laugh:
