I'm going to help a fellow CEGer rebuild his trunk floor this weekend, and I was wondering where the best place is to buy the carpeting? Preferably an oversized roll so we don't have to piece sections together.

You can find it cheapest at walmart but it may not be quite the color or thickness you're hoping for.

Joann Fabrics:shrug:

They have some good quality stuff for basic cloth wrapping of any..speaker boxes...headliners etc etc.

yah hopefully LKQ will have a trunk carpet liner, if not I know autozone has some rolls of black or gray carpet for like 20 bucks that would work well. I don't think stuff from joanns would be thick enough to withstand stuff thrown on it all the time like groceries and such.

Look in the Yellow Pages for "automotive trim shop", they'll have all manner of automotive related carpet, fabrics, padding, sound deadener, etc.

I got some from a local upholstery shop. Pretty reasonable on price I thought. 20 bucks for a sheet that was probably 4'X8'.
Google for upholstery shops in your area.
